Gleichdruckvergaser

30. September 2011 Anders als beim Schiebervergaser wird beim Gleichdruckvergaser der Gasschieber nicht direkt betätigt, sondern der Fahrer regelt per Seilzug eine Drosselklappe. Im Saugrohr entsteht ein Unterdruck, welcher über eine Belüftungsöffnung auf eine Membran wirkt, die wiederum die Hauptdüsennadel und den Schieber gegen die Kraft einer dazwischen gelagerten Feder anhebt und so dafür sorgt, dass mehr Kraftstoff in das Saugrohr strömt.

Da die Schieberstellung so ausschließlich vom Lastverhalten des Motors geregelt wird, entfällt das bei Schiebervergasern bei niedrigen Drehzahlen auftretende Verschlucken des Motors, bei plötzlichem vollem Aufziehen des Schiebers.

Nachteilig wirkt sich die strömungsungünstig im Ansaugrohr platzierte Drosselklappe aus, weshalb Sportmotorräder mit Schiebervergasern ausgerüstet sind.
